The Human Equation supports life-long learning and has pursued certifications for instructional design and content excellence. The following institutions have recognized us for our achievements.
American Society for Training & Development (ASTD)

The E-Learning Courseware Certification (ECC) sponsored by the ASTD Certification Institute is an exciting new program designed to evaluate the instructional design and usability factors of asynchronous web-based and multimedia courseware.
ASTD is the world's premier professional association and leading resource on workplace learning and performance issues since 1944. Based on requests from members, ASTD has formed the ASTD Certification Institute to take the lead and set professional industry standards for courseware development. The program helps consumers choose the right courseware from among the 650,000 e-learning courses available today.
Courseware must meet rigorous standards based on criteria established by ASTD's Certification Standards Committee composed of e-learning experts, scholars, ISD practitioners, and other industry leaders. Consumers can now select qualified ECC courseware and feel confident that it demonstrates the characteristics of good instruction.
This certification provides a valuable selection tool for trainers and suppliers when they're faced with the overwhelming array of e-courseware," said Tom Kelly, chair of ASTD's Certification Institute Board of Directors. "Courses that bear the certification seal demonstrate the characteristics associated with excellent instruction."
